Peter Hjortsø
Peter is the Managing Partner of Tekton. He founded the firm on a simple conviction: that the most useful thing a merchant bank can do is to put itself on the same side of the table as the companies it serves — advising, building, and owning, rather than merely transacting.
In practice that means Peter works across all three of Tekton's activities. He counsels founders, families and boards through their defining decisions; he originates and assembles new companies where he sees an attractive situation and the right operators to meet it; and he invests Tekton's own capital behind those convictions — principally in the businesses the firm helps create.
He sits with the companies Tekton holds, not above them. Among the firm's current holdings are Capacito, Fortis Cyber and Solos — businesses in which Tekton holds shares and in which Peter is actively involved as an owner.
